Giving Thanks

How often do you say thank you to someone? Not the empty in passing type, but the genuine kind.

Saying thank you to someone really requires no effort at all. It is something I like to practise daily. To me, a kind word of gratitude goes a long way. It creates value for the giver and the receiver. Though the giver should never express it to gain value.

I am a leader of people. Where I work there are formal recognition programs. But the thing I emphasise the most with my staff is to simply say thank you to someone when you notice commendable actions or outcomes.

If you only do one additional thing tomorrow make it to thank someone in your life. You will thank me when you do.
